Come explore some of the most stunning landscapes Patagonia has to offer on this five day trip. The package includes hiking two of El Chaltens classic and most amazing trails. We will pick you up in Calafate on the morning of day one and include the transfer to El Chalten where you will enjoy the comfortable lodging and have the afternoon to explore. The Laguna Torre hike on day two will bring you up to close to the amazing Cerro Torre an impressive peak lying on the eastern edge of the Patagonia Ice Cap. Day three includes a hike up to Laguna de Los Tres at the base of Mount Fiz Roy with its sheer cliffs and deep blue glaciers that frequently calve off into the lake. You'll end your trip with a visit to the unforgettable Perito Moreno Glacier, the largest and most impressive glacier in southern Argentina. Enjoy your last evening in Calafate before departing.

Day 1: Calafate - Chalten

Get picked up from your hotel at 7:30am for the 3 hour drive out to El Chalten. Enjoy the scenery, the beautiful lakes, Estancia and breathtaking mountains. Watch as Mount Fitz Roy starts to appear on the horizon. Check into your hotel. Briefing with your guide will occur in the afternoon. Feel free to explore El Chalten at night.

Day 2: Laguna Torre Day Hike

18 kms approx 7 - 8 hours
Starting from the north west of town, this classic hike takes you through forests and valleys, before opening up, giving you views of Cerro Torre and the beautiful Laguna Torre. A challenging trek with short ascents and descents, you will hike alongside the Rio Fitz Roy for most of the day.

Day 3: Day Hike Laguna de Los Tres

23km approx 8 - 9 hours
Take the shuttle out to El Pillar to start the trek, starting from here allows you to see more of the national park as you'll have a different start and end point. The Laguna at the base of Mount Fitz Roy provides an excellent view point of Mount Fitz Roy and the glaciers. The hike is mostly flat, with the last stretch to the viewpoint especially steep. End the trek at the Northern end of town and walk through El Chalten to reach your hotel

Day 4: Chalten to Calafate and Perito Moreno Glacier tour

8 hours
After breakfast, we drive back to Calafate. Stop off to visit and tour the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the biggest and most impressive glaciers in Argentina and Patagonia. Once at the Glacier, we take a boat tour where you will have the opportunity to see the glacier from different viewpoints up close and personal. You may even see the ice break off the glacier. Return to El Calafate in the evening and check-in at your hotel.

Day 5: Departure Day

Say goodbye to El Calafate and head out for your next adventure. We can arrange transfers to Calafate airport if needed
