Journey through the most notable sections of the Patagonian Andes from Chile to Argentina in their most popular parks, Torres Del Paine and Los Glaciares respectively. Starting off with the soaring granite spires 'Torres Del Paine', the W Trek continues onto the striking French Valley, arguably the most scenic part of the trek. Then onto the Britannico lookout where, high above everything, you'll take in the grace of the azure Glaciar Grey below. Upon entering Argentina, you'll be graced with the incomparable beauty of Cerro Torre and the Laguna Torre. More speechlessness will ensue while hiking Mount Fitzroy and taking in the colossal Perito Moreno Glacier in the following days. Ushuaia is the final destination; not to be outdone, it offers magnificent views down the crystal waters of Beagle Channel and throughout the surrounding Tierra Del Fuego National Park. This unforgettable tour wraps up here with a hike to the serene Laguna Esmerelda and sailing down the icy beagle channel to Martillo Island, one of Patagonia's most amiable and iconic penguin colonies.

Day 1 - Arrival in Puerto Natales (Briefing)

Welcome to Puero Natales, where you will be greeted at the airport by our friendly staff and taken to your hotel. This evening you will meet the other group members and be briefed by your tour guide to prepare you for the adventure ahead!

Day 2 - Refugio Central (Hike Base of the Towers)

Our adventure starts with a short drive from your hotel to the Puerto Natales Bus Station where you will be meeting your guide. At 07:00 am we will commence our 2-hour drive to Torres Del Paine National Park. Once we arrive at the Park entrance and go through formalities we will switch buses and take a short ride to Refugio Torre Central where we will be starting our trek to the base of the towers. The hike takes us along the banks of the Ascencio River and it's easy walking up a gentle grade for about two hours to the Refugio Chileno. We will take a short break here and before starting for the towers which is about another 2-hour hike to the viewpoint where we will have lunch and enjoy the fantastic views of the towers.

Day 3 - Refugio Cuernos or Domo Frances

Hiking time 7-8 hours. 18km /11 miles and 150m Elevation Gain

The trail today follows around the base of the famous Mt Almirante Nieto (2750 m / 8759 ft) and along the shores of Nordenskjold Lake. The open country and miniature windswept forests and interspersed grasslands give one a good feel of what a vast portion of Patagonia is like. The hike itself to Domo Frances is moderate and you will be reaching camp before dinner time.

Day 4 - Refugio Paine Grande (French Valley Hike)

Hiking time 7-8 hours. 14km /8.5 miles and 400m Elevation Gain

Our day starts with a 45 min hike to the Italiano camping site. Once we reach the camp we will drop our bags by the Ranger's house and start our hike to the French Valley lookout point. Enjoy the view as you see hanging glaciers and spot avalanches.

Optional hike: Britanico lookout point

After lunch, we will start our descent from the lookout and continue until we reach the Refugio Paine Grande.

Day 5 - Refugio Grey (Grey Glacier Hike)

Hiking time 3-4 hours. 11km /7 miles and 400m Elevation Gain

After breakfast, we start our trek towards Refugio Grey where we one can often see the ice from the glacier crash into the lake and floating icebergs are common. After lunch, free time to explore the area.

Afternoon, we have the option to do the Ice hike on Grey Glacier at an extra cost of $289 or the Kayak tour for $189, please ask for more details.

Day 6 - Back to Puerto Natales

Hiking time 3-4 hours. 11km /7 miles and 400m Elevation Gain

Morning: We have the option to do the Ice hike on Grey Glacier at an extra cost of $289 or a Kayak tour for $189.

The last part of our adventure is to take a 2-hour boat tour around Grey Glacier, once the tour is completed we will make our way back to Puerto Natales.

Day 7 - Puerto Natales to El Chalten

Drive Time: 7 hours

Get picked up from your hotel at 9 am to begin your drive out to El Chalten. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery, the beautiful deep blue lakes, and countless estancias that dot the countryside. Watch as Mount Fitz Roy starts to appear on the horizon. Check into your hotel that evening and brief with your guide before checking out the town that night.

Day 8 - Hike Cerro Torre

18 kms approx 7 - 8 hours

Starting from the north west of town, this classic hike takes you through forests and valleys, before opening up, giving you views of Cerro Torre and the beautiful Laguna Torre. A challenging trek with short ascents and descents, you will hike alongside the Rio Fitz Roy for most of the day.

Day 9 - Hike Mt. FitzRoy

23km approx 8 - 9 hours

Take the shuttle out to El Pillar to start the trek, starting from here allows you to see more of the national park as you'll have a different start and end point. The Laguna at the base of Mount Fitz Roy provides an excellent view point of Mount Fitz Roy and the glaciers. The hike is mostly flat, with the last stretch to the viewpoint especially steep. End the trek at the Northern end of town and walk through El Chalten to reach your hotel

Day 10 - Visit Perito Moreno and Overnight at El Calafate

Today we make our way to El Calafate, the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. Departing after breakfast, we make the three and a half hour drive to El Calafate, where we will drop our luggage off at the hotel and grab our boxed lunch. From there, we will make the drive through Los Glaciares National Park, winding our way along Argentino Lake before reaching the boat launch. From here, embark on a cruise to get up close and personal with Perito Moreno Glacier before heading back to town for some exploration and it's many dining options

Day 11 - Fly from El Calafate to Ushuaia

Upon your arrival in Ushuaia, our driver will be waiting to greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Once you've settled in, a member of our team will meet you in the hotel lobby to welcome you and provide a briefing on the upcoming details of your Patagonia adventure. This will ensure you're fully prepared for the final leg of your journey. We're excited for the next chapter of your trip to begin!

Day 12 - Hike Laguna Esmeralda

Total Distance: 9.6 KM (6 miles)
Time required: Approximately 7 hours including lunch

Laguna Esmeralda is a beautiful glacier lake resting just 20 km outside Ushuaia. Getting there requires a few hours of hiking. While not challenging, you should wear good shoes for hiking in the mud and moss you'll find along the way.

Our guide will lead you through the otherworldly lenga forest and explain the unique plant life in the region. While the mountains in Tierra del Fuego are not as tall as elsewhere in Patagonia, the views of the Albino Glacier and Cordon Toribio mountains are excellent. After a picnic lunch at the lake you will return to Ushuaia along the same route.

Day 13 - Martillo Island (Penguin Colony)

Start the tour in the local tourist dock and board a modern and comfortable boat. Set sail and cross the wide Ushuaia Bay until you reach the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. Navigate around the Bird's Island where you can appreciate species of the Tierra del Fuego's seabirds such as skuas, black-browed albatross, steam ducks, cauquenes, cook seagulls, and gray seagulls.

Head to Sea Lion Island which also belongs to the Bridges Archipelago and is inhabited by 2 different species of sea lion. Arrive at the Les Eclaireurs (The Illuminators) Lighthouse where you will find imperial and rocky cormorants colonies. Hear the story of the collapse of the SS Monte Cervantes in 1930.

Next, continue sailing East into the wonderful landscapes of the Beagle Channel surrounded by stunning mountain ranges. Admire both Puerto Almanza on the Argentina coast and the Puerto Williams Naval Base on the Chilean coast. After that, head onwards to Martillo Island, also known as Penguin Island where you will have the opportunity to observe a colony of Magellanic and Papua penguins in their natural habitat. Make the return journey back to the dock, where your tour will end.

Day 14 - Tierra del Fuego NP/ boat on Beagle Channel

Today you'll experience more of Tierra del Fuego's most beautiful views, starting with a half-day guided tour of the National Park. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the entrance of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Created to preserve the unique sub antarctic flora surrounding Ushuaia, your tour will lead you through some of Patagonia's most unique plants and landscapes.

A short hike takes you to Lake Roca, a glacier lake known as a haven for native bird species. Enjoy a short rest here before traveling with your guide to explore the Beagle Channel in the afternoon.
