For those who love avoiding the crowds, then Winter W-Trek in Torres del Paine is a perfect fit and the best way to see the highlights of Torres del Paine National Park. Hike right to the base of the spectacular Towers del Paine, see the giant southern ice fields and experience Patagonian's famous winds. The first day starts with the journey from Puerto Natales to the park entrance and an overnight at the relaxing Refugio Torre Central. We start the trek the following morning with a hike up to the Towers Lookout point for amazing views of the world famous granitic spires. The trek continues along the shores of Lago Nordenskjold to the beautiful French Valley which features excellent views of the surrounding hanging glaciers, mountain lakes and several peaks. The last day of the trek takes you to the Glacier Grey viewpoint where you will get a firsthand look at the massive Patagonian Ice Field where you may see icebergs calving directly from the glacier into the lake. You will be staying at local lodges or camp sites and will be guided by an expert English speaking trekking guide.

Day 1: Arrival Puerto Natales & Welcome Briefing

Welcome to Patagonia. Our driver will pick you up at the airport or bus station when you arrive and transfer you to the hotel. Get some rest or enjoy the free time to explore. In the evening, a member of our team will review your equipment in the evening in preparation for the trek the following day.

Day 2: Puerto Natales - Grey Glacier Hike - Refugio Paine Grande

Hiking time is 8-9 hours. 22km /13.5 miles and 400m Elevation Gain

Our journey starts in the morning with a 2-hour drive to Torres del Paine National Park. Once we arrive at the Park entrance and go through formalities we will continue to Pudeto pier from where we will be boarding our Catamaran to reach Refugio Paine Grande. To complete this side of the park, we will be heading towards the Grey Glacier. Today we start out early to ensure we get enough time to appreciate the beauty this glacier has to offer. The first stop is Laguna Los Patos, with the first glimpse of icebergs and the glacier in the distance. After having lunch at the Grey area we continue 15 minutes further towards the viewpoint where you will have time to admire the beauty of the Southern Patagonia Ice field, we will head back on the same trail back to Paine Grande where dinner will be served.

Day 3: French Valley Hike - Refugio Paine Grande

Hiking time is 7-8 hours. Distance 18km/11Miles, Elevation Gain 450m

After breakfast, we will start out on the trek to the French Valley, in the middle of the national park. Our aim today is to reach the viewpoint, which provides panoramic views of the valley, as well as the highest peak in Torres del Paine, Paine Grande itself. See the glaciers on the mountainside, and listen out for any avalanches on the distant slopes. Los Cuernos also dominates the skyline on this challenging day hike. Lunch at the viewpoint, before returning to Paine Grande for a well-deserved rest

Day 4: Catamaran Crossing, Cuernos View Point Hike & Torres del Paine Wildlife & Fauna

Hiking time is 2 to 3 hours, 6.6km / 45 miles, and 194m Elevation Gain

Today after breakfast, we will take the catamaran back to Pudeto, upon arrival we will start a 20 min hike to Salto Grande a beautiful waterfall located on the Paine River, just after the Nordenskjold Lake. From Salto Grande, we continue hiking to Cuernos viewpoint where we will be having lunch. This hike is considered moderate and is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. After lunch, we will head back on the same trail to Pudeto where our driver will be waiting for us. From Pudeto, we continue our drive to Rio Serrano where Konkashken Lodge is located which is where we will spend our last night inside the National Park.

Day 5: Base of Towers, Return to Puerto Natales

Hiking time is 7 to 8 hours. 20km/13 Miles and Elevation Gain of 700m/2295 ft

Another early start as we begin the day driving to the Las Torres sector to start the hike to the base of the towers. First, we head up first to Refugio Chileno and then tackle the steep moraine to reach the lookout. From here you can see the brilliant colors of the laguna, as well as the three Towers. Lunch at the top of the moraine, before descending along the same path back to Las Torres where your transfer will be waiting for you. Head back to Puerto Natales and be dropped off at your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Depart Puerto Natales

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. According to your flight time, we will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to the airport.
