It rests at the southernmost point of Patagonia and provides visitors with beautiful hiking, great wildlife viewing, and a variety of adventure options. This itinerary gives you a little bit of everything Ushuaia has to offer in an all-inclusive package.

Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Hotel

Getting to Ushuaia is a journey by itself. You'll want to fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia's Malvinas Argentinas International Airport (USH). Our driver will meet you on arrival and take you to your hotel to rest up. Take the evening to visit the town's mainstreet, which has a great selection of restaurants and shops.

Hotel accommodations included

Day 2 - Trekking Laguna Esmeralda (Full Day Hike)

Laguna Esmeralda is a beautiful glacier lake resting just 20 km outside Ushuaia. Getting there requires a few hours hiking. While not challenging, you should wear good shoes for hiking in the mud and moss you'll find along the way.

Our guide will lead you through the otherworldly lenga forest and explain the unique plant life in the region. While the mountains in Tierra del Fuego are not as tall as elsewhere in Patagonia, the views of the Albino Glacier and Cordon Toribio mountains are excellent. After a picnic lunch at the lake you will return to Ushuaia along the same route.

Total Distance: 9.6 KM (6 miles)
Time required: Approximately 7 hours including lunch
Breakfast and lunch included

Day 3 - Morning visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, afternoon navigation through Beagle Channel

Today you'll experience more of Tierra del Fuego's most beautiful views, starting with a half-day guided tour of the National Park. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the entrance of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Created to preserve the unique sub Antarctic flora surrounding Ushuaia, your tour will lead you through some of Patagonia's most unique plants and landscapes.

A short hike takes you to Lake Roca, a glacier lake known as a haven for native bird species. Enjoy a short rest here before traveling with your guide to explore the Beagle Channel in the afternoon.

The Beagle Channel is a nutrient rich haven for wildlife in the region. Birds, seals, and all manner of fish live and migrate through the region with the currents. It is a wonderful spot to experience the remarkable variety of life in the region.
