Here's your chance to see the Torres del Paine up close. Up close views of these three granitic towers are the highlight of a trip to Torres del Paine National Park. This day hike is a good alternative for those not having time to complete the longer W-Trek that continues along the shores of Nordenskjöld Lake to Glacier Grey and the French Valley. We will pick you up earlier from your hotel and it's about a 2 hour drive to the park. We will start our hike from Refugio Torre Central and follow the Ascencio River to Refugio Chileno. From the Chileno Refugio it's another two and half hours to the viewpoint of the towers where we will have lunch and enjoy the dramatic scene. The distinctive towers are part of the larger Paine Massif and extend up to 2,500 metres (8,200 ft).

Day 1: Puerto Natales - Base of Towers - Puerto Natales

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel and start our adventure with a 2-hour drive to Torres Del Paine National Park. Once we arrive at the Park entrance and go through formalities we will continue for another 30 mins to Refugio Torre Central which will be a base before the start of our hike.

The hike takes us along the banks of the Ascencio River and its easy walking up a gentle grade for about two hours to the Refugio Chileno. We will take a short break here and before starting for the towers which is about another 2-hour hike to the viewpoint where we will have lunch and enjoy the fantastic views of the towers. After lunch, we will hike back all the way to Refugio Torres and back to Puerto Natales.
